About Laureate College & TFIS
Terry Fox International School (TFIS) collaborates with Laureate College in Ontario, Canada, offering the Ontario High School program. Students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 are immersed in an English-medium study environment, focusing on holistic growth and academic excellence.
Students can attend online classes in Bangladesh for 9th & 10th grades under the supervision of Canadian educators, with the option to complete 11th & 12th grades in Canada, providing a strong foundation for higher education. TFIS is the sole institution in Bangladesh offering the Ontario Canada curriculum, ensuring transition for students and granting graduates a Canadian certificate, as well as preparing them as global citizens committed to personal and community growth.
TFIS operates under an independent team comprising the Principal, Teaching Assistants, and Administrative Staff, with compensation following school policy. Retired professors lead a group of school counselors to ensure transparency and a safe learning environment.
TFIS is Bangladesh’s only institution teaching the Ontario Canada curriculum, ensuring a smooth transfer for students. Those who complete the program obtain a Canadian certificate, enriching their educational journey and preparing them as global citizens committed to community and personal growth.
TFIS Learning Center
TFIS Canada is located in Dhaka’s Uttara which accommodates 20 students per class. Designed with a school-like ambiance, it features high-speed internet, large high-resolution monitors, desks and chairs, and recording devices for lectures. Equipped with interactive boards and high-quality sound systems, these centers foster an engaging learning environment. We emphasized on the top-notch infrastructure and personalized care to ensure students receive the best possible education.
