Secondary Schools (Grade 9 to 12)

In order to prepare for post-secondary enrollment at a Canadian college or university, secondary students can attend high school. There are two academic tracks available. For more information, get in touch with the guidance office designated for international students.
A full range of academic, language, and elective courses, AP courses, extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports teams are all available to international students at the TDSB secondary schools. There are numerous art programmes available in every school, including those in music, drama, fine arts, and visual arts.
International students will be enrolled in a select group of secondary schools. The number of available spots at the designated secondary schools is updated frequently. The processing of placements will be done in the order they are received. While every effort is made to place incoming foreign students in their schools, it’s possible that sometimes this isn’t possible.
TDSB secondary schools only accept applications from international students for regular-track programmes.
Living alone while attending the TDSB is NOT permitted for international students under the age of 18.
They have the option of living with their parents, a sibling, their custodian, or a hosting family that the parents or custodian have selected.
